Party Leader Jon Burrows MLA, John Stewart MLA and Dr Steve Aiken MLA met the Commissioner to reaffirm the Ulster Unionist Party's full support for the work of his office.

The Commissioner's office plays a vital role, and strong partnership between his office and the whole Executive is key to delivering for our veterans and the wider Armed Forces community. Those who have served, and their families, should face no disadvantage in accessing public services.

The Ulster Unionist Party was proud to support the Communities Minister's statement to the Assembly on support for veterans, including the new Veterans' Support Line – the first of its kind in the UK. We look forward to continuing to work with the Commissioner to build on this progress.
