Robbie Butler MLA

Robbie currently serves as the Minister of Health. He previously served as the Party's Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs spokesperson and Chair of the Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs committee from September 2024 to August 2026. Robbie also leads on Mental Health and Young People.

Robbie has been an MLA at Stormont for Lagan Valley since 2016 but served for 16 years previously in the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service and for 4 years with the Northern Ireland Prison Service. Prior to that Robbie served his time as a Butcher. Robbie has a degree in Leadership and Management Practice.
