Robbie Butler MLA

Robbie is the Ulster Unionist Party Deputy Leader and served as Chief Whip from 2019-21, and from 2024-. He is the Party Education spokesperson and serves on the Education committee. Robbie also leads on Mental Health and Young People.

Robbie has been an MLA at Stormont for Lagan Valley since 2016 but served for 16 years previously in the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service and for 4 years with the Northern Ireland Prison Service. Prior to that Robbie served his time as a Butcher. Robbie has a degree in Leadership and Management Practice.
