About Diana Armstrong MLA
Diana Armstrong represents Fermanagh and South Tyrone in the Northern Ireland Assembly and is Deputy Leader of the Ulster Unionist Party. She chairs the Assembly’s Committee for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs.
Diana has been co-opted as the MLA for Fermanagh and South Tyrone since September 2024 and was elected as Deputy Leader in January 2026.
Previously, Diana served 8 years as an Ulster Unionist Councillor for Erne North DEA on the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, serving as Chair and Vice Chair. Before becoming a councillor, Diana worked in advertising. Diana also worked in Brussels in the office of the Vice President of the European Commission.
Diana is bilingual in French and Spanish. She has a keen interest in Tourism, Hospitality and Skills Development.
