Butler welcomes Limavady Shared Campus

As the completion of Limavady Shared Campus was announced, Ulster Unionist Party Education spokesperson Robbie Butler MLA made the following statement:

"Today I would like to pay my congratulations to both St Mary's High School (HS) and Limavady High School (HS) on the completion of the first truly shared education campus in Northern Ireland.

"This shared education initiative is primarily built on an existing strong relationship between the two schools (St Mary's HS & Limavady HS) who have both ensured that outcomes for the children and young people are at the heart of this achievement.

"Shared Education and the shared campus programme are vital for a shared future for all in Northern Ireland. Building understanding and commonalities should be something intrinsic to our Education offering across Northern Ireland and I hope that other similar schools build on this vision of a shared future.

"The leadership shown by principals of both schools has been instrumental in delivery and I would extend my thanks to Darren Mornin (Limavady HS) and Rita Moore,  principal (St Marys HS)."
