Shaun Woodward in his statement that "if MLAs reject the devolution of policing and justice £800 million of government cash will not be available," must qualify as the most inane remarks of the Northern Ireland Secretary of State's time in parliament.
It can only indicate that either (a) the money is nothing more than a Govt. bribe to DUP/SF (b) the money derives from joint DUP/SF blackmail or (c) that a petulant New Labour would actually be prepared to throw the people of N.I. to the 'wolves' through massive under-funding of policing and justice.
So let us into the secret - the DUP or SF know the answer as does the SoS - I believe also that the people of N.I. have a right to know too.
